Copystars 1-to-3 DVD Duplicator Tower

The Copystars tower duplicates one master disc onto up to three targets simultaneously. It handles CD-R at 52X, CD-RW at 40X, DVD±R at 24X, DVD±RW at 16X and DVD±R DL at 4X. Blu-ray media are not supported. The unit operates as a standalone copier with its own controller, so no host computer is required for duplication tasks.

SATA Tray Loading and Buffer Memory

Each drive uses a SATA interface and a tray-load mechanism for simple disc insertion. The controller provides 128 MB of buffer memory to smooth data flow during multi-drive burns. Installation consists of connecting power and pressing the copy button; the most common issue is using media rated below the selected speed, which causes write errors or failed verifications.

Sustained Multi-Drive Burning Behaviour

Under continuous operation the 128 MB buffer helps maintain steady throughput across all three target drives. The standalone controller manages pacing so that buffer underruns are rare during long DVD±R DL runs at 4X. Extended sessions stay reliable as long as the media quality matches the chosen write speed.
