1U Switched PDU for Rack Power Management

The CyberPower PDU41001 is a 1U horizontal switched power distribution unit designed for server racks and network cabinets. It provides eight front-facing NEMA 5-15R outlets fed by a single NEMA 5-15P plug with a 12.0 foot cord. Network administrators can control each outlet individually or as a group via Ethernet, SNMP, web browser or the built-in LCD panel. It suits environments that need remote reboot, power sequencing or scheduled load shedding without physical access.

15 A Input with 12 A Derated Capacity

The unit accepts 100 to 120 V AC at 50 or 60 Hz with a maximum input current of 15 A, derated to 12 A for regulatory compliance. Eight outlets share this 12 A budget, so the PDU comfortably handles typical network switches, security appliances and low-power servers. It runs out of headroom when combined loads approach the 12 A continuous limit, making it unsuitable for high-density compute nodes or multi-GPU workstations that draw more current per outlet.

Passive Cooling in 0 to 55 °C Range

The PDU41001 uses unfiltered electrical pass-through with no active cooling fans, so it adds no audible noise to the rack. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius and up to 95 percent relative humidity. Power draw is limited to the connected equipment; the PDU itself consumes only the minimal overhead needed for its management controller and LCD display.
