The AMD Ryzen 5 9600X processor runs at 3.9 GHz across six cores while the Radeon RX 9070 graphics card provides 16 GB of video memory. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe SSD complete the core specification.

Installation and common issues

No internal assembly is required; simply connect power, display and peripherals then press the power button. The only steps that sometimes cause delays are driver updates for the GPU and the 802.11 AC Wi-Fi adapter, plus the initial Windows 11 out-of-box experience. If the system does not post, reseat the two DDR5 modules and verify the 850 W Gold PSU cables are fully engaged.

Platform limits

The AM5 socket and DDR5 memory are locked to this generation so future processor upgrades will require a new motherboard and RAM. The Radeon RX 9070 occupies a single PCIe slot and draws power through the 850 W unit, leaving no headroom for a second graphics card. Only two memory slots exist and both are populated, so capacity cannot be increased without replacing the existing 16 GB sticks.
