The LORDWORLD CM4-IO-BASE-BOX-B bundles a Waveshare CM4-IO-BASE-B carrier inside an enclosure with a USB-HDMI adapter. It targets makers and engineers who want a ready-to-assemble platform for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 without wiring a custom baseboard.

Sustained workload behaviour

The included cooling fan works with the enclosure vents to move air across the module during long compiles, container workloads or edge-inference tasks. Passive cooling alone would throttle the SoC; the active airflow keeps clocks stable for the duration of typical batch jobs.

Thermals noise and power

Fan noise is audible but low in a quiet room and the enclosure remains warm rather than hot to the touch. Power draw follows the Compute Module 4 specification and the carrier's onboard regulator, so a standard 5 V supply rated for the module covers the board, fan and attached peripherals.
