Indoor 1080P WiFi surveillance camera

The LUOM C29S is a fixed-focal network camera that streams 1920 x 1080 video at up to 30 frames per second. It connects over 2.4 GHz WiFi or wired RJ45 and is powered by a DC 12 V supply. The 3.6 mm lens gives a 120-degree field of view while the motorised head pans 355 degrees and tilts 110 degrees. Night vision reaches 10 metres using dual IR-cut switching, and two-way audio lets you listen and speak through the Eye4 app on iOS, Android, Windows or Mac.

Upgrade from basic webcam or static CCTV

This model replaces a fixed webcam or a non-network analogue camera that cannot be viewed remotely. The jump is worth it when you need pan and tilt coverage, motion-triggered alerts and the ability to check live footage from a phone or computer without running a dedicated recorder. It does not suit buyers who need local storage on the device itself or who require outdoor weatherproofing.

Check power, network and mounting before ordering

Verify that a 12 V DC outlet is available at the chosen mounting point or plan for a PoE injector if using the RJ45 port. Confirm your router broadcasts a 2.4 GHz SSID, as the camera does not support 5 GHz bands. Ensure the ceiling or wall can hold the 245 g unit and that the 10.9 x 11.4 cm footprint fits the intended location.
