Lenovo ST650 V3 memory kit

This 128GB kit contains four 32GB DDR5 5600 registered DIMMs built for the Lenovo ThinkSystem ST650 V3 tower server. ECC and registered signalling protect data integrity in multi-socket workloads. Modules run at 1.1V with CL46 latency and a 2Rx4 organisation. No heat spreaders are fitted.

Replaces slower or smaller DDR5 RDIMMs

Upgrading from lower-capacity or lower-speed registered modules adds bandwidth and rank density for virtualisation, databases and container hosts. The jump is worth it when the platform supports 5600 MT/s and the workload saturates existing memory channels. Systems limited to slower DDR5 speeds or fewer DIMM slots will not benefit.

128GB across four slots for dense configurations

Four 32GB ranks fill half the typical eight-slot population on this platform, leaving room for future expansion. The kit handles large VM counts, in-memory analytics and heavy file caches without swapping. Workloads that exceed 128GB or require higher frequencies will need additional modules or a faster memory tier.
