PoE HAT for Raspberry Pi 4 and 3 B+

The UCTRONICS U611001 adds Power over Ethernet to Raspberry Pi 4 Model B and 3 Model B+ boards. It draws power from a compliant network switch or injector and delivers up to 2.5 A at 5 V. The board is aimed at makers and integrators who want a single cable for both data and power in headless or remote deployments.

Compact board with 25 mm brushless fan

The HAT measures small enough to fit inside tight enclosures and rackmount setups without extra clearance. A 25 mm brushless fan mounts directly on the board and can be enabled through Raspberry Pi configuration with a 60 degree threshold. IEEE 802.3af compliance ensures compatibility with standard PoE switches that provide proper electrical isolation.

Replaces separate power supply and passive cooling

This HAT removes the need for a dedicated USB-C or micro-USB power adapter and a separate heatsink or case fan. The upgrade is worthwhile when a PoE switch or injector is already available and the 12.5 W budget covers the Pi plus attached peripherals. It is not suited for setups that lack IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at infrastructure or that require more than 2.5 A at 5 V.
