Purpose-built power distribution

This IP-addressable PDU provides eight NEMA 5-15/20R outlets for rack-mounted equipment operating at 100-120VAC. It supports a maximum load of 16 amps with a 20-amp input breaker and installs in 1U horizontal or 0U vertical orientations. Network administrators gain remote on/off/reset control of individual receptacles through a built-in web server.

Thermals noise and power draw

The local LCD continuously reports real-time amperage, internal temperature and humidity without adding audible fans. A 10-foot NEMA 5-20P input cord delivers up to 20 amps from the branch circuit while the internal breaker protects against overloads. The unit carries 62368-1 safety certification for continuous operation in standard server-room environments.

Bundled management capabilities

The integrated 10/100 Base-T port enables IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity with SNMP v1/v2c/v3, SSH, Telnet and RADIUS authentication. Event notifications arrive via email, SNMP traps, syslog, LED or audible alarm. The firmware stores up to 5,000 entries each for power-consumption logs and event logs, and supports daily, weekly, monthly and yearly energy reporting. SSL-secured browser access and IP-address filtering complete the remote-management suite.
