It connects both drives through a single Slimline SAS SFF-8654-8i connector for PCIe 4.0 data paths. Removable full-metal trays with an eagle-hook latch allow front-access drive swaps without tools.

The all-metal chassis uses a built-in 40mm x 20mm rear fan that exhausts heat through ventilation holes above the trays.
