The ToughArmor MB105VP-B installs into a standard external 5.25-inch optical drive bay and holds two 2.5-inch U.2 or U.3 PCIe NVMe SSDs up to 15mm drive height. It connects both drives through a single Slimline SAS SFF-8654-8i connector for PCIe 4.0 data paths. Removable full-metal trays with an eagle-hook latch allow front-access drive swaps without tools.

The all-metal chassis uses a built-in 40mm x 20mm rear fan that exhausts heat through ventilation holes above the trays. Three fan settings — Hi, Low and Off — let the operator match airflow to workload intensity.
