The LORDWORLD 2.8inch module adds a 320×240 IPS panel with 262K colours to Raspberry Pi Pico boards. A dedicated XPT2046 controller drives the resistive touch layer, while the ST7789 handles display duties over a single SPI bus. MicroPython and C/C++ examples are included to accelerate development.
320×240 pixels with onboard image storage
The screen resolves 320 by 240 pixels and renders 262K colours for clear graphics and text. A MicroSD card slot lets you store bitmaps locally and show them without streaming from the host, which is handy for splash screens or simple GUIs. Complex animations or video playback will exceed the SPI throughput and the controller’s frame-buffer limits.
Low-power backlight and quiet operation
The backlight is software-controlled so you can dim or disable it to save current when the project idles. No fan or active cooling is present, so the board runs silently. Power draw stays modest because the SPI interface and the two driver chips are the only active components during normal use.
