Connect 2.5" and 3.5" drives
This USB 3.0 to SATA adapter cable lets laptop and desktop users access any 2.5" or 3.5" SATA SSD or HDD up to 12TB without installing it inside an enclosure. The 22-pin connector handles both drive sizes, making it useful for data migration, drive cloning, backups and recovery tasks. No external power adapter is included, so 3.5" drives need their own supply.
Up to 5 Gbps with UASP
The adapter supports USB 3.0 transfer rates of 5 Gbps and works with UASP for up to 70% faster throughput than standard USB 3.0 when the host also supports it. It is practical for moving large media libraries or creating disk images, but the single SATA III link and cable length limit sustained performance on very fast SSDs.
Portable 40 cm cable
A 40 cm cable keeps the setup compact enough for a laptop bag while still giving enough reach for a desktop port. The plug-and-play design means you can swap drives quickly without tools or driver installs. Remember that 3.5" drives require separate power, so the adapter alone is only a complete mobile solution for 2.5" SSDs and hard drives.

Spørsmål om denne varen
Will this 22-pin SATA adapter power my existing 3.5" desktop drive without a separate supply?
No, the cable draws power from the USB 3.0 port only, which is enough for 2.5" drives but not for 3.5" units; a 12 V power adapter (not included) is required for 3.5" HDDs.
How can I verify the link is running at the full 5 Gbps with UASP enabled?
In Windows Device Manager check that the device appears under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" as a UASP-compliant USB Attached SCSI (UAS) device; benchmark tools should then show sustained reads well above 300 MB/s on a capable SSD.
Does the 40 cm cable include a 12 V power brick for 3.5" drives or must I buy one?
The package contains only the USB 3.0 to 22-pin SATA converter; a 12 V external power adapter for 3.5" drives is not included and must be purchased separately.
