LORDWORLD
LORDWORLD PCIe to M.2 Adapter for Raspberry Pi 5 2230 2242
Adds NVMe storage to Raspberry Pi 5 using 2230 or 2242 M.2 drives with PCIe Gen2 or Gen3, onboard power monitoring and a vent for active cooling
- Adds fast NVMe storage to Raspberry Pi 5
- Supports M.2 2230 and 2242 drive sizes
- PCIe Gen2 and Gen3 modes for high throughput
- Power and activity LEDs show drive status at a glance
- Reserved vent keeps SSD cooler with Pi 5 fan airflow
Raspberry Pi 5 NVMe Adapter
This HAT+ board adds a PCIe ×1 lane to the Raspberry Pi 5 so you can attach an M.2 NVMe solid-state drive in 2230 or 2242 form factors. It is aimed at makers and embedded developers who need faster local storage than a microSD card can provide.
Check Pi Model and Drive Length
The adapter only works with the Raspberry Pi 5 Model B and will not fit earlier Pi boards. Verify that your NVMe drive is exactly 2230 or 2242 millimetres long; longer 2280 drives are not supported by this board.
Sustained Transfer and Thermal Behaviour
An onboard power-monitoring chip reports real-time drive status while a reserved airflow vent aligns with the Pi 5’s fan to move heat away from the SSD. During extended read/write sessions the ACT LED blinks continuously and the vent helps keep temperatures lower than a fully enclosed mount would.

Spørsmål om denne varen
Does the LORDWORLD adapter ship with an M.2 NVMe SSD or must I buy one separately?
The adapter board itself is supplied; an M.2 NVMe SSD in 2230 or 2242 size is not included and must be purchased separately.
Which M.2 form factors does the board accept so I know which drive to choose?
The board accepts M.2 2230 and 2242 NVMe drives, letting you pick the length that fits your capacity and budget needs.
What real-world benefit does the PCIe Gen2 or Gen3 link give when the adapter is fitted to a Raspberry Pi 5?
The PCIe ×1 Gen2 or Gen3 connection enables high-speed NVMe read and write performance, with onboard power monitoring and an airflow vent to keep drive temperatures low.
