AM5 socket for Ryzen 7000 8000 9000
This ATX board pairs the AMD X870 chipset with an AM5 socket that accepts Ryzen 7000 8000 and 9000 series processors. Four DDR5 slots support dual channel memory up to 256GB at 8000+(OC) with AMD EXPO and Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. ECC unbuffered modules are supported.
14 phase 80A DrMOS plus USB4 and Nahimic
A 14+2+1 phase design uses 80A DrMOS for VCore and SOC delivery. Rear I/O includes two USB4 Type C ports and two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type A ports alongside 2.5Gbps LAN. Realtek ALC4082 codec drives 7.1 channel audio enhanced by Nahimic software.
PCIe 5.0 x16 slot speed depends on CPU generation
The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs at Gen5 x16 with 9000 and 7000 series CPUs, Gen4 x8 with 8000 Phoenix 1 and Gen4 x4 with 8000 Phoenix 2. The second PCIe 4.0 x16 slot is wired for x4 and is disabled when the third M.2 socket is populated.
