This adapter combo includes a 3.5" drive tray and a 2.5" to 3.5" converter for Dell PowerEdge T330 and other T&R series servers. It lets you install a 2.5" SATA or SAS SSD into a 3.5" hot-swap drive cage. The tray uses the KG1CH and 9W8C4 form factors for direct compatibility.

Upgrade from fixed 3.5" drives

The kit replaces a standard 3.5" drive carrier so you can use faster or denser 2.5" solid-state drives in the same bay. The jump is worth it when you need SSD performance or lower power draw in a server that only accepts 3.5" hot-swap trays. Tool-free tray installation

The adapter seats inside the 3.5" tray and the assembly slides into the hot-swap cage without tools. Alignment pins on the KG1CH tray match the server chassis guides.
