Tool-less rails and hot-swap bays

Ready Rails allow the chassis to slide into a standard rack without tools. All eight 2.5-inch drive bays and both 750 W platinum power supplies support hot-swap replacement. The PERC H730P battery-backed cache protects in-flight writes during a power event. iDRAC 9 Enterprise gives full remote console access even when the operating system is down.

SAS 12 Gb/s bandwidth ceiling

The storage controller and drives operate at 12 Gb/s SAS, limiting sequential throughput to that link speed.
