288-pin registered DIMMs

Each module uses the 288-pin DDR4 form factor and runs at 1.2V with a CL17 latency at 2400 MT/s. The registered design places a buffer on the command bus, which reduces electrical load on the memory controller in multi-DIMM server configurations. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow in the chassis must be sufficient for dense populations.

Eight-module population kit

The package delivers a matched set of eight 16GB sticks, allowing a single-order fill of eight slots in the supported Cisco platforms. It replaces Cisco part numbers UCSMR1X161RVA and UCSMR1X161RVG. Mixing these registered modules with unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory is not supported.
