Verify you have DDR4 ECC DIMMs rated for 2133, 2400 or 2800 MT/s; each slot accepts up to 32 GB modules. The two LGA 2011 sockets require coolers with the correct mounting pattern and enough height clearance for a 290 × 280 mm PCB. The package includes the X99 dual-socket motherboard, two E5-2609 V3 processors, one SATA cable and one switch cable. DDR4 ECC memory modules, storage drives, a power supply and a chassis are not included.
