Dense 1U dual-Xeon server

The Dell PowerEdge R650 packs two Intel Xeon Silver 4314 processors at 2.4 GHz with 16 cores each into a single rack unit. It ships with 128 GB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across eight DIMM slots. Ten 960 GB SATA SSDs and a PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB NV cache provide immediate storage capacity. The platform targets virtualization, database and dense private-cloud workloads.

Ten-bay 2.5" chassis with dual 10 GbE

The 1U enclosure holds ten hot-swap 2.5-inch drive bays for SATA, SAS or NVMe media. A Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 adapter handles high-speed networking. iDRAC 9 Enterprise enables remote deployment, monitoring and firmware updates without physical access. Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for standard rack integration.

Dual 1400 W platinum supplies

Two 1400 watt platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant, hot-swap power for continuous operation. The 1U form factor relies on high-velocity internal fans to cool both CPUs, memory, controller and ten SSDs under load. Acoustic output is typical for dense rack servers in data-centre environments. Power draw scales with processor utilisation and drive activity.
