8 inch DSI touch display for Pi

This 8 inch capacitive touch display connects to a Raspberry Pi through the DSI interface and provides an 800×480 resolution. It is intended for makers and developers building embedded interfaces, kiosks or portable projects that need a compact screen with touch input. The reversed camera hole allows the official camera module to face outward while the board stays mounted. Power is supplied through pogo pins so no separate cable is required.

Check DSI port and power budget

Verify that your Raspberry Pi model exposes a functional DSI connector and can deliver enough current for the display plus any fan or accessory attached to the 5 V output headers. The board uses an FFC cable with anti-interference shielding, so confirm the cable length suits your enclosure. VCOM voltage can be adjusted on the board to optimise the picture, so keep the adjustment points accessible if you plan to fine-tune the image after installation.

Mounts with SMD nuts and feeds low-power extras

SMD nuts give a compact mounting pattern that fits tight enclosures without large standoffs. Two 5 V output headers are provided for a cooling fan or other low-power peripherals, reducing the need for a separate power distribution board. The pogo-pin power feed keeps wiring tidy inside the case. Builders who need a larger panel, a different video interface or additional GPIO breakout will need a different display solution.
