This kit delivers 2TB of DDR4 3200 memory across eight 256GB LRDIMMs. It is built for Dell PowerEdge MX750c, R650 and R750 servers and workstations that require registered ECC load-reduced modules. Standard desktop systems cannot use this memory type.

Replaces lower-capacity LRDIMMs

Swapping smaller load-reduced DIMMs for these 256GB modules lets a compatible server reach 2TB in eight slots. The upgrade is worthwhile when workloads need maximum per-slot density and the platform supports 8Rx4 organisation at 3200MHz.

Fits eight 288-pin slots at 1.2V

Modules operate at 1.2 volts and run at 3200MHz with CL22 timing, while also supporting 2933, 2666, 2400 and 2133MHz speeds. They must not be mixed with unbuffered or standard registered ECC DIMMs, and the system must provide eight DDR4 LRDIMM sockets.
