Targeted Server Upgrade

This 32 GB kit contains four 8 GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 modules built for Lenovo System x3300 M4, x3500 M4, x3530 M4, x3550 M4 and x3630 M4 servers. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers and cannot be mixed with unbuffered memory. Buyers who need memory for consumer motherboards or non-Lenovo platforms should look elsewhere.

Registered ECC Construction

Each module uses a 240-pin RDIMM form factor with 1Rx4 organisation and on-board ECC registration for data integrity in multi-socket workloads. The low-profile design has no heat spreader, so it fits dense DIMM arrays without clearance issues. Installers must populate all four slots as a matched set to maintain registered timing across the channel.

Low-Voltage Thermal Profile

Operating at 1.35 V, the DDR3L modules draw less power and generate less heat than standard 1.5 V DDR3 at the same 1600 MT/s speed. This reduces cooling demand in rack chassis and helps keep fan speeds lower during sustained compute tasks. Systems without DDR3L voltage support will not boot with this kit.
