The RP60 has no moving parts and draws power only from the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C bus, so it runs silently and stays cool during sustained 2000 MBps reads or 1800 MBps writes.
What port or cable must my laptop already have to use the RP60 at full speed?
You need a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port and the supplied Type-C cable; older Type-A or 5 Gbps ports will work but limit transfers to their lower ceiling.
