The Fractal Design Mood is a 20-litre small-form-factor chassis built for Mini-ITX motherboards. A sliding cloth wrap replaces conventional side panels, giving quick access to components while keeping a low-profile look. The steel-and-plastic frame ships without a power supply, leaving the choice of SFX unit to the builder. It suits compact workstation or living-room builds that value tidy aesthetics.

PCIe 4.0 riser limits GPU placement to two slots

The included PCIe 4.0 riser cable connects the graphics card horizontally, so only two expansion slots are usable. Maximum graphics-card length is 325 mm, and the riser’s 4.0 signalling sets the practical bandwidth ceiling for modern GPUs. Front I/O provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a single audio jack. No other internal interfaces are exposed.

180 mm top fan and side radiator support define

A pre-installed 180 mm PWM fan exhausts through the top, while the side panel accepts two 140 mm or 120 mm fans and radiators up to 280 mm (148 mm max width). Using a 280 mm or 240 mm radiator removes the single 3.5-inch drive bay. CPU cooler height is capped at 110 mm and power-supply length at 130 mm. These dimensions set the thermal envelope for any build.
