The front panel provides eight hot-swap 2.5-inch bays wired to the PERC H730P controller, which supports SATA and SAS drives in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. Only two 800 GB SATA SSDs are populated from the factory, so the remaining six bays are available for additional SATA or SAS storage.
