Fifty-six threads and 512 GB of registered ECC DDR4 give virtualisation hosts and database nodes the core count and memory capacity they need without spreading the workload across extra servers.

Sustained multi-thread throughput

With both CPUs installed the system can keep all twenty-eight cores per socket active under continuous load, and the H730 controller backs the twelve 6 TB enterprise drives with a 1 GB cache for steady RAID 5, 6 or 10 write performance. The quad-port X520/I350 daughter card supplies two 10 Gb SFP+ and two 1 GbE links so storage traffic and client connections stay separated on the wire.
