This 3.5 inch enterprise hard drive delivers 600 GB of storage on a 15 000 RPM spindle with a SAS interface. It is built for Dell EqualLogic PS4000, PS5000, PS6000 and PS6010 SAN arrays. The hot-swap tray allows removal without powering down the enclosure.
Hot-swap tray included
The supplied carrier lets administrators slide the drive into a compatible EqualLogic bay and lock it in place. No separate caddy purchase is required. This reduces service time during drive replacement or capacity expansion.
600 GB capacity for tiered workloads
The 600 GB volume suits database logs, virtual-machine images and high-transaction workloads that benefit from 15 000 RPM latency. Larger data sets or cold-archive needs will exceed the available space and require additional drives.
