The eshinreal adapter converts a single SFF-8643 Mini-SAS HD port into a full-length PCIe 3.0 x16 mechanical slot. It delivers PCIe 3.0 x4 electrical bandwidth for NVMe, SAS, SATA or specialty add-in cards. Builders who need internal drive bays instead of external cabling cannot use this product.

Slot-Powered Expansion Flexibility

The card draws power directly from the motherboard slot and requires no auxiliary connector. It accepts U.2 NVMe SSDs through SFF-8639 breakout cables, SAS 12G or SATA III devices with appropriate interposers, and standard PCIe peripherals such as GPUs or NICs. Systems lacking a free x16 slot or an available SFF-8643 host port cannot accommodate this adapter.

Passive Cooling and Efficient Operation

With no onboard controller or active components, the adapter runs silently and adds negligible heat to the chassis.
