Independent power per port

A two-phase power module feeds each port separately so heavy devices do not starve one another. No auxiliary PSU cable is required; the card draws 5 V/1.5 A from the slot and uses solid capacitors at every interface for stable voltage. The bracket measures 4.92 x 4.06 x 1.06 inches and fits x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots.

Replaces single-port brackets

This card replaces a basic one- or two-port bracket when a front-panel hub or multiple external drives are needed. The upgrade is worthwhile when seven concurrent 5.0 Gbps links are required; it is not for systems that lack a free PCIe slot or need internal 19-pin headers only.
