This board targets makers and engineers building battery-powered IoT edge devices that need a sunlight-readable display. The integrated 1.54inch e-Paper panel and dual wireless radios suit environmental monitoring, asset tracking or portable data-logging projects where mains power is unavailable.
Check power supply and antenna clearance before
The board requires a separate 3.7V MX 1.25 Lithium cell; no battery ships in the package. Ensure your enclosure leaves space for the onboard 2.4GHz antenna and that the chosen cell meets the MX 1.25 form factor so the connector mates correctly.
Onboard sensors and storage expand project scope
A PCF85063 RTC, SHTC3 temperature and humidity sensor, low-power audio codec and TF card slot are fitted as standard. These components add time-keeping, environmental sensing, voice interaction capability and removable storage without extra wiring or additional modules.
