8GB DDR4 3200 ECC RDIMM for ThinkMate servers

This 8 GB registered DDR4 module runs at 3200 MT/s with CL22 latency and 1.20 V operation. It is built for ThinkMate RAX-XS4 and RAX-XH2 rackmount servers that require ECC registered memory. The single-rank 1Rx8 organisation uses major-brand Samsung, Micron or Hynix chips.

Single 8GB module capacity and headroom

One 8 GB stick adds modest capacity for lightly threaded workloads such as web serving, virtualization hosts with few guests, or file and print services. Memory-intensive databases, large-scale virtualization or heavy compute clusters will exhaust this module quickly and require higher-density DIMMs or additional slots.

Thermals noise and power draw

The module operates at the standard DDR4 1.20 V without a heat spreader, so it relies on server chassis airflow for cooling. Registered buffering adds negligible power overhead. In a properly ventilated rackmount chassis the DIMM runs silently and stays within normal DDR4 thermal limits.
