The Orico TCM2-U4 accepts a single M-key M.2 NVMe module up to 4TB in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 lengths. It connects through a USB 4.0 Type-C port rated at 40Gbps and works with Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4 hosts. The red aluminium and plastic shell requires no tools to open, so the drive can be swapped in seconds. It targets users who move large datasets between laptops, desktops, tablets and phones running Windows, macOS, Linux or Android.

Active cooling in a compact shell

A built-in fan works with a silicone thermal pad and an aluminium alloy plate to pull heat away from the SSD during sustained transfers. The enclosure draws power entirely from the host USB-C connection, so no external adapter is needed. An 11.81 inch C-to-C/A 2-in-1 cable is tethered to the unit, providing both Type-C and Type-A plugs for broad host compatibility. An LED indicator shows power and activity status without additional software.

Ready-to-use kit for mobile workflows

The package includes the enclosure, the dual-headed data cable, a cooling vest, two plastic buckles and an instruction manual. UASP and TRIM support are enabled automatically on supported operating systems, helping maintain write performance and drive longevity. No driver installation is required on Windows, macOS, Linux or Android. The tool-free design and short cable keep the setup light for field work, though the fixed cable length limits placement flexibility on larger desks.
