Server ECC registered kit

This 512GB kit contains eight 64GB DDR4 2933 CL21 registered ECC RDIMMs built for HP Cloudline CL2600 Gen10, CL3100 Gen10, CL4100 Gen10 and CL5800 Gen10 servers. Each module is a 288-pin 2Rx4 device operating at 1.2V with on-die error correction and register buffering. The kit replaces a long list of HP part numbers including P19045-K21, P00930-H21 and P14636-001. It is not compatible with standard desktop computers or with unbuffered or load-reduced memory.

Replaces older DDR4 speeds

The modules run at 2933 MT/s and are backward compatible with 2133, 2400 and 2666 MT/s slots, so they can upgrade systems originally populated with slower DDR4 registered DIMMs. The jump is worth it when the platform supports 2933 MT/s natively and the workload benefits from the higher bandwidth and larger per-module capacity. Buyers who need unbuffered ECC or consumer DDR4 should look elsewhere because this kit uses registered signalling only.

512GB total capacity

Eight 64GB ranks provide 512GB of registered ECC memory, giving ample headroom for virtualisation, large databases and memory-intensive compute tasks on the supported Cloudline platforms. The 2Rx4 organisation keeps electrical loading low while maximising density per channel. Systems limited to fewer than eight DIMM slots or lower maximum memory per socket will not be able to use the full kit.
