Low-profile 23 mm cooler for 65 W CPUs

The Silverstone SST-NT07-115X is a compact air cooler built for Intel LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155 and LGA1156 sockets. Its 23 mm height allows installation in slim chassis where standard tower coolers cannot fit. The copper core and base draw heat into extruded aluminium fins. An 80 mm PWM fan provides adjustable airflow for quiet operation.

Limited to 65 W thermal design power

The cooler is rated for processors with a 65 W TDP, so it cannot sustain higher heat loads from overclocked or high-performance CPUs. The 90 mm square footprint occupies minimal motherboard space but restricts fin surface area. PWM control reduces fan speed at low load, yet the small diameter limits maximum static pressure. Builders needing more thermal headroom must choose a taller or larger-fan design.

Replaces stock Intel coolers in space-constrained

This unit upgrades the thin factory cooler supplied with many 65 W Intel processors, lowering temperatures and noise in home-theatre or small-form-factor systems. It is not suited for builds that require support for sockets beyond LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155 or LGA1156, nor for CPUs exceeding the 65 W rating. The jump is worthwhile when the original cooler throttles or produces audible fan whine in a tight case.
