1U AMD EPYC barebone server

The Supermicro AS-1114S-WTRT is a 1U rackmount barebone designed for a single AMD EPYC 7002 or 7003 series processor in the SP3 socket. It targets builders who need dense compute and storage in one rack unit without integrated CPU, memory or drives. The platform suits virtualisation hosts, storage nodes or edge workloads that fit a single-socket design.

Capacity and headroom

Eight DDR4 2666 registered ECC slots support up to 2 TB of memory for large working sets. Ten front hot-swap 2.5" SATA bays provide high drive density, while two M.2 slots and an optional U.2 kit add NVMe capacity. Three PCI-E 4.0 x16 slots — two full-height half-length and one low-profile — give room for accelerators or networking cards, though some 4.0 devices may fall back to 3.0 speeds.

Build and connectivity

Dual 500 W Platinum redundant power supplies deliver resilience for continuous operation. Dual RJ45 10GBase-T ports handle high-throughput traffic, and a dedicated IPMI port gives out-of-band management via the Aspeed AST2500 BMC. Front USB 3.0 ports allow quick local access. The 1U chassis limits cooler height and card length, so very tall heatsinks or full-length GPUs will not fit.
