This USB 3.0 to SATA IDE adapter connects 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA or IDE hard drives and optical drives to a computer. USB 3.0 interface limits concurrent drive use

The adapter reaches up to 5 Gbps and supports UASP for faster transfers. Only one drive can be active at a time, so simultaneous access to two drives is not possible. Compatibility spans Windows 10 through XP, Mac IOS and Linux, but new drives must be initialised in Disk Management before they appear.

Handles two drives for cloning.

You can attach one IDE and one SATA drive together for direct cloning or for moving data from an older disk to a newer one.
