All-in-One Drive Adapter
The WRIARICH E02 connects 2.5 or 3.5 SATA and IDE hard drives or optical drives to a USB 3.0 port. It suits technicians recovering data from legacy drives or users accessing archives without opening a case. The adapter works with Windows, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS.
Bundled Power Supply
A 12 V DC adapter is included so 3.5 drives receive the power they need over USB. An on/off switch lets you cut power to the drive before unplugging, protecting the mechanism during swaps. No separate power brick is required for 2.5 drives.
USB 3.0 Interface Limits
The link tops out at 5 Gb/s and falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 on older ports. Mechanical drives will not saturate the bus, so real-world throughput matches the drive's own speed. Drives larger than 6 TB are not supported by this adapter.
