Tower Plus EBT2250 desktop

The Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 is a new graphite-black tower built around an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor with 24 cores and a turbo boost up to 5.6 GHz. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 5600 MHz memory, a 4TB PCIe NVMe M.2 solid-state drive, and Windows 11 Home pre-installed. A wired keyboard and mouse are included in the box.

Front and rear I/O layout

Front-facing ports provide three USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 sockets, one USB 3.2 Type-C Gen 2 connector, a headset jack, and an SD card slot for quick peripheral access. The rear panel adds four USB 2.0 Type-A ports, two more USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 connection with 4K video output, an HDMI 2.0 port also supporting 4K, Gigabit Ethernet, two stereo audio jacks, an S/PDIF optical output, and a Kensington lock slot. Intel Wi-Fi 7 BE200 and Bluetooth handle wireless duties.

Upgrade path and limits

This system replaces an older tower that lacks DDR5 memory, NVMe storage, or Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, delivering a noticeable jump in platform bandwidth and AI-accelerated workloads. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance, additional internal drive bays, or a smaller chassis should evaluate other form factors before committing.
