Dual 25GbE SFP rNDC for Dell PowerEdge

The DELL Mellanox ConnectX-4 CX422A provides dual-port 25GbE SFP connectivity in a rack-mount server form factor. It is designed for administrators upgrading compatible Dell PowerEdge platforms including the R640, R740, R740XD, R7425, R840, R940 and R940XA. The card uses the rNDC interface for direct integration. All components are tested with firmware updated prior to shipment.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

As a server network adapter, thermal output and acoustic profile depend on the host chassis airflow and system fan policies rather than the card alone. Power draw scales with link utilisation on the two 25GbE ports. No independent cooling or acoustic specifications are published for the adapter itself.

Behaviour under sustained load
