This 15-metre multimode fibre patch cable uses an OM3 10-gigabit core with FC connectors at both ends. It is built for 1 GbE, 10 GbE and 40 GbE links between switches, servers and storage arrays in data-centre racks. The aqua-blue 3.0 mm PVC jacket identifies the OM3 grade at a glance. Ceramic ferrules keep end-face geometry consistent over repeated mating.

Typical insertion loss is 0.2 dB and maximum insertion loss is 0.3 dB, leaving ample margin for 10 GbE runs up to the standard OM3 reach. Return loss exceeds 38 dB, suppressing reflections that degrade high-speed signals. The cable supports 1 GbE, 10 GbE and 40 GbE simultaneously; it does not support 100 GbE or single-mode distances.
