Professional Workstation Tower

The HP Z4 G4 is a new tower workstation built for professional design, content creation, rendering, engineering and data-heavy applications. It runs on a single Intel Xeon W-2135 six-core processor operating at 3.7GHz with 12 threads. An NVIDIA Quadro P1000 graphics card with 4GB GDDR5 memory drives visual workloads. Windows 11 comes preinstalled for immediate use.

Memory, Storage and Expansion

The system ships with 8GB of DDR4 ECC memory across eight DIMM slots that support four-channel architecture up to 2666MHz. A 250GB NVMe M.2 SSD provides the primary boot and application drive. Onboard SATA and RAID 0/1/5/10 controllers manage additional storage. Two internal 3.5-inch bays with acoustic rails, two external 5.25-inch bays and a dedicated 9.5mm optical bay offer physical expansion. Graphics support includes two PCI Express x16 Gen 3 slots and four Mini DisplayPort 1.4 outputs.

Thermals, Noise and Power

The 465W power supply delivers energy to the Xeon processor, Quadro GPU and all installed components without redundant hot-swap capability. Acoustic dampening rails on the internal drive bays help reduce vibration noise during operation. The tower chassis uses directed airflow to manage heat from the CPU and graphics card under typical professional workloads. Power connections for a second graphics card depend on the chosen power supply configuration.
