The HPE 846524-B21 is a new 1 TB internal hard drive with a 12Gb/s SAS interface and 7200 rpm spindle speed. It uses a 3.5 inch form factor and supports hot-plug installation. This drive targets enterprise servers and storage arrays that require SAS connectivity and continuous operation.
Hot-plug capability and SAS interface
Hot-plug support allows the drive to be inserted or removed while the system is running, reducing downtime during maintenance or expansion. The 12Gb/s SAS interface provides dual-port redundancy and consistent performance for multi-drive environments. No additional software or accessories are bundled with the bare drive.
1 TB capacity for bulk storage workloads
