This module provides 16GB of DDR4 memory in a single 260-pin SODIMM package. It is designed for laptops, all-in-one PCs, small-form-factor desktops and compatible NAS devices. The non-ECC, unbuffered design suits standard consumer and small-business platforms. Buyers who need error-correcting code or registered memory for server-class hardware cannot use this module.

Sustained-load behaviour

The memory operates at 2666MHz with a CAS latency of 19 and a voltage of 1.2V. These JEDEC-standard timings deliver consistent throughput during extended workloads such as large file transfers, virtualisation or compile jobs. Without a heat spreader, thermal performance relies on the host system's airflow, so sustained write-heavy tasks may be limited by the chassis cooling capacity.

DDR4 SODIMM interface limits

The 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM slot defines the physical and electrical boundary for this upgrade. Maximum capacity and speed are set by the platform's memory controller and BIOS, not by the module itself. Systems limited to lower DDR4 speeds or smaller per-slot capacities will not utilise the full 2666MHz rating or the 16GB density.
