Server-grade DDR3L ECC RDIMM kit

This 128GB kit contains four 32GB DDR3L 1600 CL11 registered DIMMs built for HP ProLiant DL380e Gen8, DL560 Gen8 and SL4540 Gen8 servers. The modules run at 1.35V and provide error-correcting code protection for data integrity in enterprise workloads. They are designed for workstation and server platforms only and will not function in standard desktop computers. Mixing these registered modules with unbuffered memory is not supported.

Straightforward 240-pin installation

Each module uses the standard 240-pin DDR3L form factor and slots directly into the compatible ProLiant memory sockets without tools. The kit is JEDEC-compliant and tested to meet OEM specifications, so firmware recognition is immediate on supported systems. Installers must populate slots according to the server's population rules and avoid mixing registered and unbuffered DIMMs, which prevents boot. No heat spreaders are present, so airflow clearance follows the chassis design.

Steady throughput under sustained load

Registered buffering and ECC maintain signal integrity and correct single-bit errors during continuous operation, keeping data consistent across long compute jobs. The 1.35V DDR3L voltage reduces power draw compared to standard DDR3, helping thermal stability when all channels are fully populated. Performance scales with the platform's memory controller limits, delivering reliable bandwidth for virtualisation, database and file-serving tasks over extended periods.
