Single 32GB ECC registered module

This OWC DDR4 2400 module delivers 32GB of registered ECC memory in a single VLP DIMM. It is built for the Supermicro SuperServer 5018R-M, 5018R-MR, 2028R-C1R, 2028R-C1RT and 7048R-C1R platforms. The 2Rx4 organisation and CL17 timing at 1.2V match the qualified Supermicro part numbers listed by the manufacturer. Standard desktop systems cannot use this memory type.

Capacity headroom for virtualised workloads

A single 32GB stick adds substantial memory capacity to supported Supermicro servers, allowing more virtual machines or larger in-memory databases to run concurrently. The DDR4 2400 speed and registered buffer maintain signal integrity when multiple modules populate the board. Workloads that exceed 32GB per channel or require higher memory frequencies will hit the limits of this module.

Replaces Supermicro MEMDR432L series DIMMs

This module directly replaces Supermicro part numbers MEMDR432LCL02ER24, MEMDR432LCV01ER24, MEMDR432LCV02ER24, MEMDR432LHL01ER24, MEMDR432LHL02ER24, MEMDR432LSL01ER24, MEMDR432LSL02ER24 and MEMDR432LSV01ER. The upgrade is worthwhile when existing DIMMs are smaller capacity, slower speed or when populating empty slots to reach the platform maximum. It is not suitable for systems requiring unbuffered or load-reduced ECC memory.
