960 GB capacity and 1 DWPD endurance
At 960 GB the drive provides enough space for operating systems, databases and virtual-machine images while its 1 drive-write-per-day rating and 1,752 TBW total endurance cover typical mixed enterprise workloads. Workloads that exceed daily full-drive rewrites or require higher write endurance will run out of guaranteed lifespan sooner.
SATA III interface limits
The SATA 600 interface caps maximum throughput at the drive’s rated 550 MBps read and 520 MBps write, so the drive cannot scale beyond that bandwidth ceiling. Systems that need higher queue depths or lower latency than SATA allows will not benefit from faster flash on this interface.
