This 600GB hard drive spins at 10000RPM and connects through a 2.5-inch SAS 6Gb/s interface. A 64MB cache buffers read and write operations for transactional workloads. The unit is supplied new and carries the IBM MBF2600RC model designation.
Hot-swap caddy included for IBM System x bays
The package adds an IBM System x caddy that matches the hot-swap drive carriers used in compatible servers. Installers can slide the assembly into a bay without tools or cable routing. This reduces replacement time during maintenance windows.
2.5-inch form factor fits dense chassis
