Portable fiber adapter for USB-C laptops
This USB-C to fiber-optic converter adds a Gigabit Ethernet connection through a laptop or tablet USB 3.0 Type-C port. An open SFP slot accepts MSA-compliant transceiver modules so you can choose the wavelength and distance that suit the link. Fiber-to-the-desk connectivity reduces electromagnetic interference and data-leak risk compared with copper. The adapter is bus powered and works with Windows, macOS and Linux drivers.
Silent operation within 0 to 60 °C
No fan is present so the device runs silently in normal use. Power is drawn directly from the USB-C port, eliminating an external supply. Operating temperature range is 0 to 60 °C and storage range extends to -10 to 70 °C. Humidity tolerance spans 5 to 90 % RH non-condensing.
Compact aluminium housing with status LEDs
The enclosure measures 0.80 by 2.20 by 10.20 inches and weighs 0.22 lb, making it easy to carry alongside a laptop. Front LEDs show power and link or activity status at a glance. A single USB-C female connector and one SFP slot provide all physical interfaces. Wake-on-LAN is supported for remote management.
