The Yottamaster FS2U3 holds two 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives or SSDs, each up to 16 TB, for a total of 32 TB of direct-attached storage. Thermal Management Under Continuous Operation
An aluminium-alloy chassis works with a temperature-controlled 40 mm fan to dissipate heat during sustained read or write sessions. Four vibration-absorbing feet keep the unit stable and quiet on a desktop, so the enclosure remains cool and unobtrusive even when both bays are active for long periods.
Interface Throughput and Protocol Limits
The internal SATA III interface runs at up to 6 Gbps per drive, while the single USB 3.0 link shares that bandwidth between the two bays. Real-world transfer rates will therefore sit below the SATA maximum and vary with drive performance, cable quality and host controller implementation.
