Adafruit RGB Matrix FeatherWing Kit
The Adafruit RGB Matrix FeatherWing Kit is a prototyping add-on that lets makers drive 16, 32 or 64 pixel wide RGB matrices from a Feather board. It targets hobbyists and engineers who want to build animated displays without designing custom driver circuitry.
Two assembly options replace custom wiring
The kit includes a 2x8 IDC shrouded header for top mounting with the matrix cable, or a 2x10 socket header for bottom mounting so the Feather stacks directly on the wing. Choose the top-mount route when you need the Feather accessible for debugging, or the bottom-mount route for a slimmer profile behind the panel.
Works with M0 or M4 Feathers and 5 V DC power
The wing pairs with any Adafruit M0 or M4 Feather running the RGB Matrix library and accepts a 2.1 mm DC jack for a 5 V supply. It frees you from soldering level shifters or power regulators, leaving GPIO pins open for sensors or networking add-ons. Builders who need higher voltage panels or non-Feather hosts will need a different driver solution.
